VivekaSankalpa 2026, three orientation sessions on the importance of ecology, nature, and the Western Ghats were conducted for different batches of First PUC students on 10th June 2026 at the Vaidehi Auditorium. The sessions were led by Sri Dinesh Holla, internationally renowned artist and ecologist.
During the sessions, Sri Dinesh Holla highlighted the ecological significance and rich biodiversity of the Western Ghats, one of the world’s most important natural heritage regions. He emphasized the need to protect its unique flora and fauna, conserve natural ecosystems, and promote sustainable living practices.
Through his insightful and engaging presentation, he inspired students to develop a deeper appreciation for nature and understand their responsibility in preserving the environment. The sessions also underscored the vital role of the Western Ghats in maintaining ecological balance and supporting life and livelihoods.
Sri Dinesh Holla also shared practical tips to help students improve their handwriting, emphasizing that neat and legible writing reflects discipline, enhances communication, and contributes to academic success.
Heads of various departments, teaching and non-teaching staff members were also present during the sessions. The program served as a valuable platform for students to understand the importance of environmental conservation and the need to safeguard the Western Ghats for future generations
