As part of the Viveka Naipunya series, a workshop on students’ mental health was held on 4 June 2026 at the Vaidehi Auditorium. Renowned author and psychiatrist Dr. Virupaksha Devaramane of Dr. A. V. Baliga Hospital, Udupi, was the resource person for the program. He shared valuable insights into the mental health challenges faced by students and emphasized the importance of emotional well-being, resilience, and a supportive learning environment.
The formal inaugural session was presided over by Sri Venkataramana Rao Mankude, Assistant Executive Officer of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur. This workshop marked the fourth session in the Viveka Naipunya series. Dr. K. N. Subrahmanya, Director of the College Governing Council, Sri Devicharan Rai M., Principal of the college, heads of various departments, staff members of the college, and faculty members from various institutions under Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, Puttur, participated in the event. The workshop provided an enriching platform for educators to gain a deeper understanding of students’ mental health and explore effective ways to support their overall growth and well-being.
