Viveka Chintana – Interaction with Veterans | The Swadeshi Jagarana Cycling Campaign, led by Brigadier Ravi Muniswamy (Retd.), former Indian Army officer and former Director of the Government of Karnataka, and organized by Sri Paripoorna Sanatana Charitable Trust, arrived in Puttur on 17 December 2025.
Following the cycling rally through the main roads of Puttur, a special interaction programme was held at the Vaidehi Auditorium of Vivekananda Pre-University College. The programme aimed to inspire students and the general public by sharing the experiences and insights of distinguished veterans of the Indian Armed Forces.
The interaction featured eminent personalities including Brigadier Ravi Muniswamy, Brigadier I. N. Rai, Major General A. V. Mohan, Major General Sharath Bhandary, and Captain Ganesh Karnik. Dr. K. M. Krishna Bhat, Secretary of Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha, delivered the introductory address, highlighting the importance of patriotism, discipline, and national service. The session was effectively moderated by Sri Prajwal, Lecturer at Vivekananda Law College, Puttur.
Students from various institutions of the Vivekananda Campus, Nehru Nagar, along with college management representatives, faculty members, and members of the general public, actively participated in the programme.
The veterans shared their experiences, motivating the students to develop leadership qualities, a sense of responsibility, and respect for the nation.
